HA! I wish, that would be awesome.

Actually the last time we won was in Norman in '89(?)...

Personally, I'm not going to say we have any shot against OU.

It was in '90. I looked it up after I posted it. Iowa's record in Columbus isn't much better though. They haven't won there since '91. I don't want to give the impression that I think Iowa has a shot in hell of winning that game. I just don't think ISU is beating OU either.

Meh I agree with you. We both have pretty low chances of pulling those off, but I can see both teams doing it.

Anything is possible, but both teams would need a special (OSU @ ISU 2011) day/night.

Iowa will lose to OSU by at least 4 touchdowns. It will be a bloodbath.

ISU hangs within two scores of Oklahoma. book it.

The only way Iowa could beat Ohio State is if they hold them to under 3 pts...ISU has a least some wiggle room but it would be tough.

I think that would be the worst season that Stoops has ever had in the last ten years. They are at least on par with those two teams IMO. However, you have good logic to reason your situation would happen. If there was a year for it, it would be this year.

I was commenting more on the fact that you said Bibbs was the difference between OU being good and being mediocre.

Ya that was weird. I'm not even sure he would have got playing time there, that's probably why he picked us.

Re: Iowa vs Iowa State recruiting 2013-2014?

Maybe this will help illuminate the contention by some that despite the W/L record being stagnant ISU is trending up in some significantly measureable ways:

    Year...PF ave...PA ave...ave diff...Pt diff
    2006....18.8......30.8......-12.0......-143
    2007....18.2......31.8......-13.6......-163
    2008....25.3......35.8......-10.5......-126
    2009....20.5......21.8......-1.3........-17
    2010....21.7......28.8......-7.6........-86
    2011....22.7......29.4......-6.7........-87
    2012....24.5......23.9......+0.6........+8

Yes, yes, I know that winning games is the goal, not making it close; but this certainly indicates movement in the right direction.
