An Outsider's Love Letter to the CFH Basketball Camp

I had posted this in another thread but then it does not seem to be getting the attention it deserves, imho, so I thought I would give it its own thread. Great read, MUST read, about this year's camp from someone on the outside:

-Be kind. That is something you will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old "I wish I was not good to that person".

Ha ha, that was pretty good.

Great read! Love hearing this stuff. THOSE are the reasons why this will continue to be a CYCLONE STATE. I love that our coaches "get" the big picture...winning games, but also creating experiences/memories for the Cyclone Family.

Pretty cool. I always wonder if some of the players realize how big of a deal it is for a kid to talk to them or get them to sign a ball for them. It seems like to players handle this great. Talent is great to have but integrity in players is inspiring.

Nice read. It's great to have Mom's like that spreading the word in the Quad Cities area.

Great story. Can't wait until my son is big enough to go to one of these!

Now, the blog name is a bit odd to me...could be taken a couple ways, one perfectly harmless, the other...

    Think about it.

Awesome; we're gonna have a lot of Cyclone fans in years to come.

    Here you go:

Iowa State University - Fred Hoiberg Basketball Camps

Day camp starts in Kindergarten, costs about 2 bones for the 4 days...

Father/Son camp would be fun too.
