    Power-Washing House

Needing to power-wash the siding on my house (particularly the north-facing side but planning to do it all). I have been wondering if I should purchase any product to use while power-washing the siding or is water enough to clean the "moss" or whatever it is that seems to be growing in spots on my siding?

Would these products be safe if they come into contact with my wife's flowers? Worth the money?

    Any info is appreciated!

I've used half bleach and half water to do this.

Vinegar is a really good cleaning agent, maybe do a water/vinegar mix? I wouldn't think that would hurt flowers, but I'm not sure.

I also read that vinegar can help kill weeds off too. Not sure what it does to flowers.

Got Weeds? Use Vinegar, Not Roundup

Well apparently it will kill anything in its path. Sorry petunias.

If your flowers happen to have a yeast infection it will take care of that.

    Re: Power-Washing House

had a similar situation a couple years back. I bought a moldicide made specifically for pressure washers. It did the trick for me.

I think it was this product or something very similar...

    Re: Power-Washing House

I need my house power washed too but it's too damn big to do it myself. Trying to find someone to do it for under $300 but no luck so far.

Nice, I'll start using it for the sidewalk/driveway weeds. I wonder if it will kill the fescue grass that's popping up in my yard too.
