Anyone else think rooting for the Spurs right now...

feels like rooting for ISU against KU/OSU/Texas when we had the lead in the final seconds and somehow can't close? Of course a lot less emotional attachment, yet it still brings flashbacks back of nightmares!

Very true. I guess I'm thinking about this more in a vacuum.

After Ginobili got mugged (no call), it definitely feels like an Iowa State game.

Its insane how much money game 7 means for the NBA. Theres no way that didn't cross the ref's mind. Makes me glad I didn't have money on the game.

Ginobli walked first. I don't feel bad on that one.

Green got fouled hard, but they'll never call that.

San Antonio had plenty of chances to win this thing, and should have, but they didn't get the job done.

Fantastic game. Games like that helped me to love basketball in the first place.

Calling a foul on the Green shot would've made for ultimate drama. Green could go to the line for 3 free throws with the game on the line. That is what makes people love basketball. Two $$$ driven no calls, makes me not want to watch anymore.

It should have been a foul call for sure.

I'm just saying that the Spurs blew more chances than the refs could have.

As a fan of both, like I said in the other thread, it is just another kick to the nads.

Its funny how all you guys that are complaining that the Spurs got fouled, but didn't say anything when the Spurs were on there big run in the 3rd and numerous Heat guys were grtting mugged and hacked but no said a word. The refs were consistant on fouls.

What's really funny is how the Spurs are one of the "most complained about" teams all season long when it comes to flops and preferential treatment by the refs, but because they're playing the Heat, all those fans that were previously doing all the complaining have jumped on the bandwagon and now act like the Spurs are somehow the victims of some NBA conspiracy. Please.

He picked up the ball and ran with it. It's not a foul on step 5.
