For the record, I thought at the time and still think that ISU's infractions weren't a huge deal and shouldn't cause fans to worry about severe penalties.
Isn't that previous thread in a restricted forum such as the "Political Forum"? I know that's what it tells me when I try to go to it. We also have to remember that the explanations (lies) for the violations were carefully, craftily conjured up by the SUI legal defense team ((the same legal defense team that handled the PR (attempted coverup) on SUI's rape cases and stolen credit card case, etc.)).

What we should be focused on here is the fact that Bobby Elliot had nothing to do with these violations. How do I know that? BECAUSE BOBBY'S INTEGRITY IS ABOVE QUESTION, YOU STUPID CLOWNFANS!

Or so the Register tells me.

    A) I checked to see if there was a thread and didnt see it. Not that it matters, because the mods here do a fine job of merging double threads.

    B) Are you honestly going to tell me there's a difference between ISU and Iowa's violations?

clearly the ncaa thought so. Seemed to be similar in that they both involved texts/phone calls but there were many, many more with ISU.

That's only because more guys return our phone calls and texts.

OK, my trolling aside, I can't care any more about this than I cared about ours. Really nothing to see here. Nothing to throw a chair about, anyway.

the article clearly states that Iowa's violations were accidental, duh.

The article doesn't state whether the NCAA has investigated and ruled on SUI's case. Typical substandard article writing by the Register's staff.

Reminds me of the guy who cheats on his gf with a local stripper and says it just as mistake. The gf then replies that it was no mistake.

I forgot the Reg said they were accidental so UI should be in the clear. ISU's were clearly on purpose.

Clark, amongst your hawkeye brethren, you're the exception to the rule.

    Good job - high five!

for the record, I haven't read one of these posts that I didn't think had a sarcastic, mocking tone to them. I think everyone knows they are "no big deal" (I don't quite understand the "accidental" characterization).
