Lone Ranger will be a hit just b/c of Johnny Depp. I am predicting World War Z even though I want to see it.

World War Z just based on how much it ended up costing to make. Like the above poster, I too will see it.

Re: Pick your movie most likely to bomb

Am I being greedy if I say "all of them"? I really liked WWZ as a book, but I have no illusions that they made a good movie with this adaptation. They should have just given Simon Pegg another $10 million and told him to make "Shaun of the Dead 2". I'd see that.

Lone Ranger will crush everything the week it comes out. Unless it's the same week as Man of Steel. World War Z is going to be a huge flop. I will go see it, but I don't think it will be very good. Just watching the zombies in the trailer and how poorly some of them are animated is upsetting.

Interesting, sounds like some of the Man of Steel numbers may have been because of the Walmart promotion since the tickets they gave out were all purchased by Walmart and therefore count towards the final numbers.

After Earth is already considered one of the worst movies of the past decade. I'll go with that.

I don't understand the love for Long Ranger. It looks lousy to me.

He has another movie this summer with Nick Frost. The worlds end or something. Can't wait

I think the new Wolverine movie will bomb. Even though I love Wolverine, he's not all that interesting of a character and we've kind of seen enough of his back story.

And Superman: Man of Steel somehow has an 8.4 on IMDB...

Don't get me started on The Dark Knight Rises.

I guess every remade-for-the-third-time version of a stale, bloated comic book heroes is one of the best films ever made, eh?
