Please tell me that you never, actually, attended ISU, as you are hardly an example of tip-top logic.

Here's what's inside the West End Zone complex.

Here are some pics of the stadium and some of the amenities.

And just for grins (because it's equally important to the grading of a stadium as the unknown locations for quality tailgating) are some photos of our nearly completed indoor practice facility.

Also, ignore the fact that we average 1300 more fans in the seats than did you.

I could go on, but won't, because I generally enjoy your fanbase and this board. However, YOU, are a moron.
I don't understand why you called Cyrocks ignorant for claiming the tailgating is better at JTS and then went on to provide absolutely no information about tailgating at BPS.

OSU stadium is way nicer, our tailgating is way better. Both facts.

Duh - because it's TBPSU - $$$ makes everything better.

In truth, ISU's tailgate ranks perhaps only behind Texas', and any level headed outsider, particularly those in the media, consider it one of college football's best-kept secrets.

For those who refer to Jack Trice as a glorified high school stadium because it isn't bowled in, what do you think of LP Field? I was in Nashville last week and noticed that it has no bowled ends and almost all its seating on two sides. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like a glorified Jack Trice Stadium, but for an NFL team.

Looks like end zone seating to me. Perhaps an overglorified Michigan State stadium. But comparing Jack Trice to LP is bad and you should feel bad.

Yeah, there is some seating in the endzone, not unlike the current south endzone section of Jack Trice, except with the corner hillsides filled in.

Yet, the big gaping holes in the second and third decks behind the endzones seems to bear some resemblance to Jack Trice. All I'm saying is that I found it interesting that LP Field shows how the basic design concept used for Jack Trice Stadium is used in a big-time stadium that I hadn't noticed until seeing it in person.

I had a really good time tailgating in Austin, but in some respects ours is probably better. Its tough to get access there and things are really spread out.

You're right close to downtown in an amazing city, and people take their football seriously, but there are a lot of ways to look at the situation and between our ease of access, proximity to the stadium, cohesive nature of the lots, and overall fan enthusiasm for tailgating, ISU is up there with anyone.

I've never been to a UT game in Austin, but everything I've heard is that tailgating as it is known doesn't exist there because there is no open spaces around the stadium. Now, if you consider partying in Austin in general as tailgating, I agree nothing would beat that.

People set up tailgates on whatever shreds of grass they can find, often staking them out several days in advance. This pervades the area around the stadium, but its pretty much impossible for someone to just show up and do this.

A lot of it is just partying in Austin, which of course, is awesome.

    Hmmmm....

First of all, the thread isn't about who has the best tailgaiting. It's about who has the best stadium. The writer of the story cites numerous factors that are considered in his ranking. Tailgaiting and the fan experience is a small factor. Cyrocks disputes the conclusion of the author because, even though he really doesn't know anything about OSU's tailgaiting, he is just sure that ISU's is so much better than OSU's that it should catapult ISU's stadium ahead of BPS.

No, I didn't supply any information about our tailgaiting, because even if ISU was superior to Ole Miss and The Grove, it wouldn't be enough to push you past OSU's state-of-the-art stadium. What I DID provide, is links to substantive, tangible proof that our stadium is probably under rated at #3.
