    Cyclones.tv Question

Sorry to start this thread already, but can anyone tell me, I purchased Cyclones.tv last year when I live in Sioux Falls, SD. I have since moved back to Ankeny and am wondering if I need to purchase it again. The reason I ask is because last year I did not get a lot of the Men's bball games that were on local TV. Will I be able to catch all the games on channel 5 like the old days, or should I renew my subscription?

    TIA for your information.

You will likely need it for several non conference games, but you should get all the others.

    Re: Cyclones.tv Question

If you have Mediacom you will not need cyclones.tv. Mediacom carries cyclone.tv broadcasts. If you don't have Mediacom you will need cyclones.tv to see the non-conference games they are no longer on channel 5.

This is why I asked about Cyclones.tv. I think that I will just end up getting it, because I have Directv.

The Mediacom channel will reduce the benefit for live broadcasts. But I still plan on keeping it for the radio feeds, press conferences, and ability to rewatch stuff.

    Re: Cyclones.tv Question

I don't think anyone ever posted this article which I found through Ubben's blog one day. Has some good information on the delay that Mediacom has in forming the separate ISU channel. ISU: Cyclone TV channel experiencing technical difficulties | Ames Tribune. Since I have DirectTV I am definitely keeping it but my internet at home sucks so I'll probably have to come in to work to view the games.

I have it at home. I run a cable from my laptop to my 65" HD plasma and it's awesome!

The condensed replays are my favorite feature. You can watch a football game less than 40 minutes.

    Re: Cyclones.tv Question

I watched a lot of basketball games on it, but the whole family enjoyed wrestling and volleyball games as well. I hardware my laptop into my tv as well via hdmi and the HD is awesome.

The interviews and practice are fun for preseason.

    Re: Cyclones.tv Question

Cyclone Feud episodes during the Tailgate Tour are actually pretty entertaining also.
