    Trevor Hodge

IMO, if Hodge stays at QB, I think he will be very good in our system. Could you imagine an athlete like Hodge running, throwing to Lazard/Elmore/Mister, with a guy like Jeff Jones in the backfield with him? With what would be with the 2013 OL class/etc. in front of them.

Yeah, im just wishing right now, but i honestly think its a possibility. I also think Hodge is a diamond in the rough and will be really good.

    Oh, what could be.

    Re: Trevor Hodge

A lot of high schools put their best player/athlete at quarterback. What will really determine Trevor's success is how dedicated he is at learning to become a pure quarterback, and not just relying on his athleticism like he could in high school.

Worst case scenario, we picked up what looks to be a terrific athlete.

Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. If he complete passes, he will stay at QB, if not, move him somewhere else.

I'm happy for him that he got us our biggest win in history but yes, to be completely honest the only time he took the field that game where I wasn't scared was when we intercepted it in 2 OT and we went in to run it up the middle. I'm not a pessimistic fan but he always scared me

I spent two thirds of that game waiting for him to be yanked, he was playing so horribly...

Pretty sure you have Barnett confused with Jantz. Jantz was the human turnover.

Apparently you missed the statistical analysis that showed their turnovers were actually equal...

    Re: Trevor Hodge

Jantz was, is, and forever will be, better than Jared Barnett. Give Jantz one or two credible targets at WR/TE and a formidable offensive line, and he would have been an ISU legend.

    Re: Trevor Hodge

Hodge (#2) looks like a polished QB to me, not just an athlete playing QB. The system he played in seems very similar to ours. He seems to have the play making ability that we have been lacking. Can't wait to see if he make similar plays at Iowa State.

Jantz might be the only guy to be benched twice in a single season.
