    Your favorite guitar solo?

I don't know if I have just one, but I really love the solo in Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughn

so many to choose from. I'll throw out Jethro Tull, Aqualung. It starts off slow, then keeps building until finally he's just shredding by the end, yet it maintains a really nice melody throughout, and never departs from the feel of the song.
    Starts at about 3:20

Favorite is probably the Sweet Child O Mine main riff and the solo at the end.

    Re: Your favorite guitar solo?

I like acoustic guitar better than electric, although I still like electric. This cut by Silvio Rodriguez, a Cuban singer who plays the guitar and sings on this is my favorite. It is called "La Gaviota" in Spanish or "The Seagull" in English.

"Cómo te va", dijo el murguista a la muchacha. Que lo cortó con su mirada indiferente
Le dijo "Bien" y lo dejó como si nada

I can see your point, but the solo is pretty bad a**. Simple but awesome. The intro riff is pretty good as well.

Agree completely. The lyrics and chorus really don't do much for me. Those parts do, though.
