    A) Where did they get the info? They didn't survey me or anybody else I know.

    B) An excessive drinker is defined as having consumed 5 or more drinks on a single occasion within the last 30 days (men)??? I think everyone I know who isn't pregnant is considered an excessive drinker by those standards..

There are a lot of people that think if you have more than one drink in a sitting that you are a problem drinker.
Was it really necessary to do that as a slide show that you have to click through? I gave up after about 7 slides.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

Did they exclude college students from this survey?

I was going to say, their description of heavy drinkers sounded like a description of college kids to me.

Are you saying college kids aren't heavy drinkers? Certainly they aren't the ONLY heavy drinkers, but I'd guess a much larger percentage of college kids are heavy drinkers when compared to non-college kids who are over the legal limit.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.

The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not.

Well I know a lot of people that would have represented for my county, but we weren't asked. This thing is rigged!

    Re: Congratulations Clayton county

Pretty much all of Northeast Iowa was in the top 30. I counted Clayton, Chickasaw, Dubuque, Fayette, Bremer, Allamakee, Delaware, and Howard Counties in there. Basically the whole northeast corner of the state (save Winneshiek, which surprises me).

However, hard to give much credence to it when Johnson and Story aren't #'s 1 & 2.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

does not surprise me at all. Most of my ISU friends were from that area and they definitely kept the alcohol industry floating.
