Do you have any idea how this stacks up with some of the other schools like Iowa, Penn St, and Cornell?

Don't know about Iowa or Cornell but I would bet without seeing pictures that it doesn't touch Penn State's. Theirs is on a whole different level.

I think there are probably place with more frills, but this facility has about everything that is needed.

I am not sure if there is a rehab/taping/etc room nearby and is a weight room in the facility? I think the added mat room and lounge are big upgrades and allows for 50 student/athletes vs the 32 or 33 student/athletes we had before.

It looks pretty sweet, although I'll bet that the HVAC tube in there is just for show. No way a real wrestling coach lets his athletes have air conditioning.

It's to blow in the heating.

    Impressive and long over due.

Not sure how much has changed, but there used to be a trainer's room/taping/etc next to the main wrestling room and then the Weight Training facility for all Olympic Sports is on the other side of the Wrestling Room. (All on the 2nd floor of Lied)
