How to survive a crocodile attack

    When does football start?

How to Survive an Encounter with a Crocodile or Alligator

If the crocodile grabs an arm or leg, it will try to roll and twist it off. Be ready to immediately start twisting or rolling in the same direction.
The goal being to get the crocodile to say "Stop Copying Me!" thus opening his mouth, and allowing you to escape.

Re: How to survive a crocodile attack

Nice instructions. I don't think crocs roll so that they can rip off bite size portions of your body. I think they roll to get you underwater so they can drown you. After that, they'll take their time eating you.

So wouldn't rolling with the croc just get your head underwater faster? Why not just suggest "set off your suicide bomber vest at the first sign of a crocodile attack"?

I'm just picturing a scenario where a person somehow has the presence of mind to roll with the croc, like the instructions say. Ok, so then what? Now you're just rolling around with a crocodile. Is your situation any better than it was before? It still has your limb in its mouth, holding tight. Rolling the correct way didn't change that.

You can make the argument that not rolling at all is the best choice, because while yes you might be down one hand/foot/arm/leg, you are no longer in the beast's jaws.

Re: How to survive a crocodile attack

The way to survive a croc attack is to be wearing Crocs at the time of the attack. The crocodile will be laughing so hard at your poor choice in footwear that it should give you time to run away.

    I think you have a stalker, 3True.

I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. During the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
“Because,” says the Lord, “Sandpeople always ride single-file, to hide their numbers.”

The best part of this article "A wicked but true fact––the elephant will get the slowest runner. That's your bid for safety if you're in a group. Of course, few people want to see sparing their own life coming at the expense of another, so it's kinder to yell out instructions for sparing everyone's life if possible and to try and ensure everyone reaches safety."

Stalker has such a negative connotation, I prefer to think of him as a groupie.
