Probably. Depends on texture. Not sure I could eat a grub type because I worry they would be like a jelly doughnut but without the tasty jelly. I would eat crunchy roasted things though.

This is already happening all over the country, just not on purpose.

There is already a good number of food products with insect parts inside. One of those attention getting slideshow websites had a feature on it recently. Certain dyes and colorings are only found from insects. Anything grown outdoors is going to have parts of insects stuck inside anyway.

Depends on how many days I was lost before help arrived.

I like the line "...could help in the battle against obesity." Tough to overeat on something that repulses you.

Feed the third world with them then. I'm content with beef, pork, chicken, and seafood.

this. One of the red dyes that's added to a lot of foods, Red #7 or something like that, is made by crushing up a certain kind of beetle and running it through a fine mesh screen.

what's a crab/lobster if not a giant sea cockroach? Basically the same thing.

No, I love shellfish. Chili beans are more akin to peat moss.

I guess they are pretty much bottom feeders eating the garbage of the ocean huh? If cockroaches tasted like lobster, I'd eat a giant plate of them with some drawn butter.
