There is no doubt that it is a great deal. And I like it.

I've said it before, but if they bowl in the southendzone the helmet's *** is gonna have to get in shape, that will be a lot more stairs and a lot more running!!!

Can we even sell that many? We have to reserve "x" amount of seats for visitors. I guess we can sell hillside season tix.

I'm still hoping to get 2 seats together anywhere in the stadium tomorrow morning at 8:00...

I have no idea. Almost got to 41k last year, and this year we have Texas, Iowa, and UNI. I'm guessing if we can, we will.

    Re: Season Tickets Going Fast

Just have Jack Trice completely sold out before the season starts, that'd be fantastic!

I remember not too long ago when I could walk up and get a ticket for $20 no problem, last time I went to a game at Iowa State (Texas Tech) I had a fairly hard time finding a decent seat that I didn't have to pay a $100 for.

Not sure what "deal" you are getting at but our tickets are the 4th most expensive in the Big 12. Our tickets are more expensive than K-State, Kansas, TCU, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Baylor, and is in the ballpark with Oklahoma ($423). Only OU, Texas, OSU have higher ticket prices than we do.

I love Iowa State and have had season tickets for the past 13 years but we aren't exactly getting a "deal" IMO.

Pretty sure he's talking about the deeply discounted tickets for endzones and corner sections. Do these other schools offer any season tickets for $99-$250 with no donation required?

You do drive a car don't you? I am sure a horse would be an incredible deal but for progress sake...

You can get a season ticket for $125 at ISU. How is that in the ballpark of $423?

    Re: Season Tickets Going Fast

Also, just saw this on Facebook from ISU Athletics:

There are single seats only available in the non-donor cardinal and gold sections. The south end zone seats are sold out.

So does that mean that the only tickets left (other than singles) are hillsides and donor sections?

Totally agree, for me and my fam these tickets have worked perfectly, we have recently up'ed our donor level but kept our seats in the endzone so we could upgrade our parking. For the last 3 or so years, I have felt like I was absolutely stealing my seat from the AD.

If I have to pony up a few extra bucks per ticket to continue to see something I love, I will happily pay up.

I just recall back to the gridiron club meeting 3 years ago, when Rhoads said there will be a day when you can't get a tickets to see the Cyclones play at JTS. Who would have thought that was 2-3 years later already!!
