Friday OT #1 - Old, Old Shows

Thanks to TykeClone for this one!

What are some old shows that you watch on Netflix/DVD/etc.? To be clear, as Tyke puts it - not "Arrested Development old," but more "MASH old."

    What do you got?

Re: Friday OT #1 - Old, Old Shows

Not super old old, but I tried watching Twin Peaks (the tv show, not the establishment) on netflix last week for nostalgic purposes and I struggled.

I still love McGuyver. Scoobie Doo.

    Brady Bunch is tolerable...

Sign me up for a good Twilight Zone marathon. Is Seinfeld considered old? Probably not, but I still love it.

Re: Friday OT #1 - Old, Old Shows

Not Mash old but the one I really like to watch online is Marty Stouffer's Wild America that was on PBS. Since we only had 5 channels as a kid this was hands down my favorite show.

Another one is one that most people will have no clue but I love finding old Tony Dean episodes. It was a hunting and fishing show in the 80s and 90's.

    Old Red Green shows.

Mine are a little unique and not ones most people will know.

Re: Friday OT #1 - Old, Old Shows

I was watching Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry on Boomerang the other day. I could watch that stuff endlessly.

Tiny Toon Adventures was on another channel, too, but that's probably not "old enough" for this definition.

Looney Toons is something I'd stop to watch if I caught it. Never gets old with me. Also would watch a Brady Bunch episode if I had time. Both bring back fond childhood memories.

As for movies, Casablanca anytime and It's A Wonderful Life during the holidays.

Re: Friday OT #1 - Old, Old Shows

The Dick Van **** Show. I also used to watch the Andy Griffith show everyday when I was little. Some of the old school shows had great writers, especially compared to what we get today.

    Edit: Of course that's censored.
