    Distal fibula fracture

Wife broke her ankle tonight. Will probably need surgery. Not really looking forward to the next few weeks/months.
    That is all.

Just prop her up in front of the stove and make sure the fridge and sink are close by. Hope she feels better soon.

    Re: Distal fibula fracture

After my foot surgery I invested a whole $12 in a box of plastic booties from a vet - normally worn over your shoes/boots for biosecurity/animal disease. Duct tape it on my leg and boom, I'm in the shower, keeping the incision dry.

X-ray or MRI or it didnt happen.

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

Your life is going to suck for a few weeks. Just move a bed to the ground level right now.

You should have told her not to do that.

    Re: Distal fibula fracture

Had foot surgery a few years ago, and could not put weight on it for 8 weeks. I rented a knee scooter for the house. It was a perfect way to get from one point to another without using the crutches. If she can use the boot right away and walk, then this would not be necessary. Bummer if she has to be in a boot all summer long. Good Luck to her.
