    Cyclone tailgate tour in Bettendorf

Big croud in Bettendorf. The prez, Pollard and coaches talking attendance, season results, and such. Pollard just said ISU is 27th in the Dierctor's Cup; 45 places ahead of Iowa. One of only four schools (others are Michigan, Michigan State, and Louisville) to place football in two bowls, volleyball, men's and women's basketball to two NCAA tourney appearances. Good times. Got me stoked for the upcoming seasons!

Which athletes were at the Bettendorf stop? We wanted to make the trip but my daughter had softball. She pretty badly wants to meet Cy.

Forgot to mention CFH's comment about "getting screwed" in the Ohio Stare game. Seemed out of character for him. Don't disagree with his observation, though. I really think a Final Four was a real possibility if the Zebras hadn't stolen that one ...

He must still be stewing over that loss and that call, though. Can't blame him without another game to look forward too for awhile.

Re: Cyclone tailgate tour in Bettendorf

I love hearing CFH talk "off the record" if you will. :-)

I was at a lunch and the were handing out random prizes. One of them was an older Tyrey Pierson shooting shirt. When Fred started talking, he said, "Man, I wish I could have been eligible for that that awesome shooting shirt" in a very dry, sarcastic tone, half cracking a smile. :-)

Is there a Cyclone gear table at the tailgates?
