SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT WATCHED THE LAST FEW EPISODES BELOW:

usually the mole is just some person, but this season they actually made the head of the agency a mole. That's new, and I like it.
Season 5 the president was the mole.

I thought for sure he was going to kidnap Heller when Jack told him to take him away from Wembley Stadium.

Kind of have a feeling, but then think surely Jack's mole radar has improved after all of these years from the days of Nina.

KS has said his action days are about up so wondering if they might continue with whatever her name is (Chuck's woman) doing most of the action and Jack a little more in charge again.

I truly loved the tossing out the window both times.

I like to call it "getting the window treatment". I'm glad they're at least continuing the the storyline from last season of Jack kind of going off the deep end and doing whatever the hell he wants.

    Re: Jack Bauer coming back

Last nights was pretty good. Love that they brought Cheng back from the dead and having him work with the Russians to start a war between the US and China was a good angle. Sounds like there's one more major twist for next weeks finale.

I keep hearing season finale, not series finale. Hoping they keep this ship going for many more seasons.

My only complaint about the show is they should have made the season 24 episodes instead of 12. There is so much more they could have done with this story line.

    Re: Jack Bauer coming back

I suppose Jack needed Audrey's tool of a husband to get in, but he conveniently killed that Russian dude that would be a star witness in his treason trial and they really needed to get some intel out of him before he croaked.

Running this show in summer is great, its the only show we watch besides sports.

    Re: Jack Bauer coming back

I thought last night's episode was the best of the season so far. I agree that I wish it had been 24 episodes instead of 12, but I think 12 episodes is the only way we'll get to keep the show on television. Production costs were what forced it off the air the first time not ratings.

I'm hoping that talk about a motion picture is true. Can you imagine how successful that would be? It could be a movie franchise that would make crazy money.

    Re: Jack Bauer coming back

Aubrey is going to die. Just a hunch. I think Jack saves the world but he cant save the one thing (person) he cares about the most.

Future seasons he comes back with complete vengeance only the US government lets him do what ever the hell he wants and we all benefit from his uninhibited badassness.

I think they needed to get it back on the air again before a movie would be successful... this is a good step. Without this run it would be like having a Lost movie... there would be die hard people but I think the casual fan would have passed because it had been off the air for so long.

There is no way Jack can save the world with just an hour left. I bet the show goes "to be continued" and we get to see what happens next season.

This season has been great. Full of twists and turns that I did not see coming.

    Re: Jack Bauer coming back

This season had really not done much for me after the first couple episodes and until the last one. Looks like I'm not alone there.

That said, I still like this season and am hoping for more.

    oh man, 24 rules.

I too have a feeling Audrey is going to die in the season finale.... oh, and Jack is going to go mental.

Also, I thought earlier that "Erik" guy was going to be a bad-guy.... but, I have been proven wrong.... or have I?

    Re: Jack Bauer coming back

I think next week's episode is going to be underwhelming. Too many storylines to close them all in an hour.

I think both President Heller and Audrey end up dead and Cheng gets away because Jack is forced to pick between killing Cheng and saving Audrey. He picks Audrey and it's too late. I'm going to make a wild guess that Jack's dude that took Heller away from Wembley kills him.
