Take that Nebraska, and thanks for screwing up the league so long by resisting equal revenue sharing.

Isnt it awesome how they've basically become irrelevant now though? Nebraska, meh. Missouri, yawn. Colorado, zzzz. The only team that this seems to be working out for right now is A&M, but I expect it's only a matter of time until their carriage turns back into a pumpkin and they battle Mississippi State for irrelevance.

A&M's success is more about Sumlin taking over than being in the SEC.

So does this mean that many Big 12 teams (us included?) will be getting more than the Big 10 when you include 3rd tier rights?

Yep. Big 10 brought in more revenue, but the individual school payouts in the Big 12 were higher than the Big 10 last year. That'll probably be the case the next few years until the Big 10 renegotiates its TV contract for 2016, which will be massive.

The football programs that entered the Big 12 also did a lot to prove how it's the SEC, then the Big 12, then a huge gap before arguing about everybody else. Two programs that had been fixtures in the top 15 got their bell rung by the Big 12.
