Rediculous. I have a privacy fence where I have worked overtime trying to seal off and they still find their way in. They even birth new bastard babies in the yard. Sorry, but some zones are dangerous territory. If they want the veggies and plants in my yard, that is all part of the risk.
Besides, as seen here. Rabbits are dangerous.

If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

    Re: RABBITS!

Done most of those suggested measures including the blood meal, shooting them, live trapping them, fencing off shrubs in the winter, spraying Liquid Fence. Problem is they are dense here near Theodore Wirth Park and I seem to like plants that are rabbit candy (azalea, cotoneaster, euonymus, roses and hostas). Little ****ers are always trying to dine at my place. I fence off their favorites in the winter and they a start eating on stuff I have NEVER seen them touch before. I can live with some misc damage but I have had shrubs I spent years growing and they were literally eaten down to the ground or girdled and killed. I have found the deterrents less effective than the termination via lead poisoning. I sniped one out of the garage side door last week and know he will not be back but that is hard to do with the neighbor’s houses so close. Not taking any chances with safety here, just don’t want to upset the neighbors who might think I am being careless.

Since the hawks stopped nesting in the neigborhood, there isn't any natures check on all of the baby rabbits. I miss the hawks but they were insane noisy when they had a nest full of fledglings.

cowgirl- you and I are on the same page. Im guessing bos doesnt have much invested as far as garden veggies or even landscaping plants. I find it hard to sympathize when the rabbits destroy my veggies or bushes around my house. I spent a decent amount of money to try to make my lawn look nice and to grow veggies at home. Im not ok with the little rodents eating them off. Survival of the fittest I guess.

I once shot a rabbit in Reno, just to watch him die.

    Re: RABBITS!

Willow has been quite busy so far this spring. 8 confirmed kills. I suspect more due to the other neighborhood cats always coming out from my under my deck looking satisfied and the turkey vultures that circle my house.

    Page 5 and yet no:

    1. Kill them, kill them with fire. Although some credit to posters with fire in their avatars that imply they think this, CYCLNST8 and cowgirl836
    2. Many Willow references and not a single All your rabbit are belong to Willow.
    3. No one posted Nirvana Come As You YouTube in response to the OPs “I don’t have a gun”
    4. No reference to the killer rabbit from the Holy Grail.

I am home sick today with obviously too much time on my hands. I'll be back posting in a few minutes, have to go check my yard for rabbits.

Not one of your listed references, but this is just as obvious:

Night Of The Lepus (Trailer) - YouTube

According to this movie, you'll need air support and heavy weapons.

Chicken wire is a decent detterent, as for rats, how the hell did they get in? Investigate that first.

Rats can get in a hole that is the size of a quarter I think. They can fit just about anywhere. Only way to get rid of them is poison/traps.
