I thought this was going to be about Tebow's upcoming buddy cop sitcom on NBC.

I truly feel awful for Tebow. The guy is picked on and scrutinized day in day out for no legitimate reason.

The media is a bunch of ***hats.

here I thought the thread title meant dahliaclone's prediction was coming true. Not that I would be terribly surprised.

That would be great. I would love to see him play. That league is cheap fun.

Only in the world we live in today would a guy like Tim Tebow be hated so much for being a fantastic person

Most of the animosity towards Tebow seems to be centered around the media ****storm that follows him everywhere he goes as opposed to Tim Tebow himself.

Yeah and nobody can distinguish the coverage of him from the person himself. I have always wanted to hate Tebow but when you actually look at him as a person there is no logical reason to dislike him especially when I was a huge Iverson fan.

on a serious note, it's the whole "goody two shoes" persona that some people can't stand. It feels fake, even if it's not. It's not all his fault, either, but he's certainly done nothing to discourage the image, so he must be okay with people hating him for it.

no it doesn't. The whole "making fun of the goody-goody" routine is nothing new to human culture.

how many of them have the exposure he does? And before you say "He didn't ask for the exposure," he absolutely knew what was going on, and he has capitalized off of his image to a great degree. Make no mistake, Tim Tebow has benefitted greatly from all the "hate."

So he should kill a couple of hookers to lose that image? It worked for Craig James.
