Mid Week Movie Discussion - Best Chicago based movie?

Needed something to get me through the day! Came up with the trying to figure out best movie from various cities. We'll start with Chicago this week. If I get time, I'll try to take all the suggestions and add a poll tomorrow or Friday.

My top 3 (That I can think of right now)

    1. Ferris Bueller's Day Off
    2. Christmas Vacation
    3. Wayne's World

Also thought Source Code was good.

    How about "The Sting"?

That's one of the best films of all time, imho.

My dad watched the parade in Bueller being filmed from his office window.

IMO, 1, 2, and 3 is Blues Brothers...followed by Running Scared with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines.

Blues Brothers just isn't that special of a movie, in my opinion. I just don't see what the hype is about. I've seen it probably 10 times, and it's fine. I'm not saying it's bad by any means. I'm just saying I don't get why it's seen as such an all time classic.

You stop your blashpeming and you get out of here. Without your 4 fried chickens, without your toasted white bread, and without Matt "Guitar" Murphy!

Blues Brothers is an all-time classic. Either you get it, or you don't. Pretty simple.

I don't mean "get it" in a "you have to be super intelligent to understand it" kind of way. More in a "if this movie doesn't innately make sense to you, you aren't going to really appreciate it" kind of way.

Sting is a GREAT movie. For me its more about the mood/feeling I get when watching. Every time I see Wayne's World, it reminds me of quoting it word for word with my buddies from highschool/college. Memories like that play into it for me.

As great as some others are it has to be Christmas Vacation.

apparently I don't, because while I do think it's entertaining, I fail to see why it's held in such esteem.
