    Tebow released

Heard on ESPN radio on the way to work, Tebow was finally released. Question, does another NFL team pick him up for the drama?

I really, really doubt it. Nobody wants the circus that he brings, not to mention the fact that nobody is going pick up a backup QB that requires an offense specifically tailored to him in order to have a chance at success.

    Re: Tebow released

I want to know what this guy did to the Jets to make them hate him this much. Waiting until the monday after the draft to release him...after most teams have figured out their QB situation? I suppose they could have thought he was an asset they could use in trades for the draft, but it seems like the guy deserves a little better than this.

Guessing Sanchez is next...........they did have 6 QB's on the roster - 2-3 will be gone.

I think someone with a really, really solid starter could get away with it, if they can get him at the right price. Maybe use him as a situational/package guy.

Chiefs. They can always use another qb.

He must have ticked off the head coach.

    Re: Tebow released

I can't blame them for waiting. It sounds like they tried to get a 7th rounder for him all weekend but no one thought he was worth it.

Supposedly, he's been on the trading block for some time now. The Jets tried to package him with Revis to the Bucs. Nobody wants him. Not even his hometown team in Jacksonville, who could use a quarterback.

The guy is persona non grata, through little fault of his own. He can thank ESPN and scores of overzealous fans.

    Re: Tebow released

I was listening to espn radio this morning and they were talking how it was kinda bs the way he did it. I guess ryan had been coming up with a lot of packages to use him in and they said that Tebow is in the best shape of his life and has been in the workout building and film rooms around the clock pulling like 18 hour days this offseason.

I get the hate for him, but it's not his fault, it's the media. I get why no one wants him but I feel bad for him.

Only ESPN and Tebow's family care. Nobody else does.

    Re: Tebow released

A team should pick him up and use him as a TE or H-back type to get the best of his abilities. It is obvious that he is not a starting QB in the NFL.

I bet Geno will start sooner or later next year.

He doesn't want to do that, though. Tim wants to be a quarterback.
