    Michigan Game Next Year

Perhaps this has already been mentioned in another thread, but I just saw the news that Glenn Robinson and McGary will be back for Michigan next year.
Wolverines' Mitch McGary, Glenn Robinson III decide to stay in school | Detroit Free Press | freep.com

I think that likely means we'll have a top 10 team coming to Hilton in December!

Add Stauskas, Albrecht and LeVert (along with whichever recruits they pick up), and Michigan will be good again next year. It's exciting to think about big-time home non-conference games again! I can't wait!

    Re: Michigan Game Next Year

I hope people get up for that game like it's a conference game. Should be a good one. They will also add Zak Irvin at the 2. It will probably be the most fun game to watch all year from a pace and style standpoint. There will be a ton of threes going up. This should be some sort of prime time game though I'm sure it won't be because ISU won't be picked to be anything special.

Agreed. Just too bad this game didn't come in 2014-15 when we'll have far more experience. Still a winnable game in Hilton, and a great opportunity. It will take a monumental day to beat Michigan.

I don't know about monumental day...but it certainly won't be a pushover game for us (or UM).

Could be a great catalyst for our guys - get them some tough challenges early and see who wants to step up.

Agreed on both counts. I hope ESPN picks it up.

I will get up for it. That's for sure! With this Irvin kid coming in, they may not reach the Final Four next year, but they should be a top ten team.

    Re: Michigan Game Next Year

I'd think that with the show we put on during Big Monday last season, ESPN would be more than willing to throw us a bone here.

I guess it's possible that this game could conflict with some year-end CFB games, which I'm sure takes top priority.

I just hope it's scheduled when the students are in class.

Would love to upset a top Big 10 team early in the season in Hilton. Could potentially be a season changing game.

    Re: Michigan Game Next Year

I would like to see this continue every year (not necessarily with Michigan). And I would like the games to be played on campus instead of some big-city 'neutral' court, or Wells Fargo Arena. I just don't see these home-home games happening especially with the top tiered and ranked teams.
