    Minneapolis Bachelor Party

Looking for ideas on things to do/places to go. Planning on going up for a weekend in late July (probably head up early Friday afternoon, come home anytime Sunday).

We're already planning on catching a Twinkie game Saturday since the groom is a fan. Looking to fill Friday + Saturday when we're not at the game. We enjoy sports, booze, & wouldn't turn down scantily clad women.

There should be around 8-10 of us. Not looking to break the bank, but we understand with some things you get what you pay for. Any ideas are appreciated (hotels, general areas to stay/go out, restaurants, bars, clubs, activities).

    Thanks!

Sneaky Pete's is a must bar to go to. Marriott downtown is nice if you can afford it, nice bar in there and close to the bars and Target field

    Re: Minneapolis Bachelor Party

I wish I remembered what hotel we stayed at for mine 10 years ago. I think it was the Marriott. The doorman asked what we were up to and my buddies told him it was my bachelor party. He said a great place to grab supper was just down the road. He gave us directions and some tickets to get in free. Said they had shows there and sometimes had a cover. We thought it was kind of odd when we got to the restaurant and they checked our ID's. We were quite a ways away from the stage so couldn't tell exactly what was going on but it looked like the women dancing didn't have a whole lot on, kind of a Vegas-y feel. All of the sudden our waitress is there to take our drink order and all she was wearing was heels and the apron around her waist.
Moral of the story- listen to the doorman.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

Are there any breweries up around there? I've always thought a brewery tour would be fun for a bachelor party, but haven't had a chance to do one.

Big fan of The Local (Irish bar).
Don't go to Matt's and get a Juicy, the wait is too ridiculous on the weekends.
Drink a lot of Grainbelt. But then again, your bathroom situation might arise again.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

This is actually the weekend we have penciled down. Is Saturday a day or night game?

(I know I can look all of this info up myself, & I plan to, but I like getting actual first hand info too)

Does Rick's still have their lunch buffet? I haven't heard about it in a while.
