    Suspension for Coaches?

Rumor has it, some of the coaches involved in the allegations may be suspended for a few games. Do you see this happening and if so, will it hurt us?

Agreed. But did edit "scandal" to "allegations."

I heard Furentz is about to be fired for Rhabdogate. See how that works.

Make the football coaches watch the Bowl game over again. Would be punishment enough.

    Re: Suspension for Coaches?

if you are a head coach, and your assistants eff up, you get suspended. that's how it works.

    Re: Suspension for Coaches?

I would expect a public execution. Nothing more and nothing less.

So, no suspension necessary. The execution should suffice for most.

    Re: Suspension for Coaches?

Couldn't we just make the offending coaches go to Valley Stadium on Sunday?

    Re: Suspension for Coaches?

I think it's certainly a possibility there could be suspensions. People have said there's a trend toward the NCAA suspending head coaches of infractions no matter who is responsible. Hard to say since we've only heard Iowa State's side of the story, but I think suspensions are about the worst that could happen. Either way, Iowa State is fortunate to have coaches that appear dedicated to the program so I think no matter the penalty the overall future is still bright.

Are we dropping them in lake lavern tied to cement block or more guillotine style? I prefer burning at the stake. Make sure the wood is wet so it takes longer for them to burn
