    CU back up QB quits

ESPN says that CU Qb Brian White has quit the team and will transfer. The last quote by Hawkins makes the CU coach sound atleast to me like a bit of a jerk.

Err the thread title was meant to be 'QB' not 'QG' duh...

Re: CU back up QG quits

I see he has his son on the roster as a QB. Hmmm. How would you like to be the "other" QB when his son's redshirt is done. CU sounds like they have a lot to figure out.

Cool. That means that the backup can't burn us for once when we knock the starter out.

Re: CU back up QB quits

CU has more problems than answers, Hawkins had a class program at Boise State. I think who takes the CU job ends up a classless coach, history might repeat itself here based on last 2 coaches.

His son as QB??? oh my

Re: CU back up QB quits

I work with a CSU fan, and a Nebraska fan. The Colorado jokes have been pouring in all day.

Q: Know why CU's footbal team no longer has a web site?

A: Because web sites need to start with WWW not LLL.

that's such a dumb joke, but i laughed out loud. let's you know what level i play on!

i also laughed about handsanitizer's comment...there is a trend with our team knocking out the starting QB only to get burned by the backup...

Re: CU back up QB quits

I thought they hired Dan Hawkins because his boy was a 5 star qb. Or am I wrong? Big price to pay.

Looking back, maybe the coaching talent has gone down the proverbial spiral in the Big 12 this year. Ron Prince and Dan Hawkins game should be a masterpriece.

You know the backup probably quit because the starter could only get 130 yards total offense. What could the third string backup do? 85 yards total offense?
