    Tanner Lancona

Didn't we recruit this kid? He decommitted from Wazzu today. 2013 6'8" PF. I may be imagining it wrong but the name rings a bell.

Kid looks like he's got some range and decent athleticism.

I think we showed interest for a short time early last fall. I think there may have even been a staff visit to California, but the reports of our involvement quickly dried up.

He's gonna be buried behind Railey, should be tough to crack playing time.

Where's Nallen? What does this have to do with Iowa State basketball? I'm just saying.

Didn't you see the fine print towards the bottom of Cydkar's post. It says that the post was approved by Nallen. So, this should be a legitimate thread!

Utah Utes, Illinois Illini. The University of Pennsylvania thought about following this pattern by calling themselves the Pennsylvania Pencils. However, they were afraid their students would start chanting "We're No. 2"

I still like Tariq Black better than this kid. But... as long as it's approved I digress.

    Re: Tanner Lancona

i think we called him, he didn't answer, we left a voicemail, forgot to document it, and then stopped recruiting him.

    too soon?

I think it was probably more like we called him, he answered, we said "hi, this is Iowa St." He hung up, but we thought it was a dropped call, so we called him back. Of course no answer, so we left a message, but of course we didn't log the second call because we thought the first was dropped.

And this is how you have impermissible calls.
