    Yeah,

younger/smaller guys probably will have trouble with his length even though he only has one move around the hoop. Could be wrong, but my guess is he'll be one of the better players.

I think graduates can play like Jok but I don't think Fran McWhatever will want him playing with current and future Cyclones. He'll be at the Eastern Iowa league which I believed is named the NIT league.

That's like Wednesday night pick-up games at the Y. Gotta shoot for teams.

Length and athlete are different. That's what confused me. Percy won't be out athleting to many players.

    Just my opinion though.

The JUCO transfers are going to be very interesting to watch this summer. At this point, I know almost nothing about them. Hope there are some gems that will really shine in Hoiberg's system.

He will be in the cap city league. Seems like most of the rosters have a couple DI guys, couple small college guys and the rest Highschoolers.

Maybe I'm confusing athletic with a good left hand, shotty defense and not passing.

    Re: Cap City League

Teams can have 2 players from both ISU and Drake for a total of 4 area college D1 guys (unless they are incoming freshman and then they don't count so you can have more). Rest of roster is mix of a few D1 guys (like Knutson from Lehigh), smaller college and JUCO guys (lots of Simpson types), former players (Emmenecker, etc) and usually 1 high school guy per team.

Guest stars - like Royce and Brackins last year and Korver a few years ago - are worked in for entertainment value but aren't really on a team.

Mel or Georges has to be the first pick. No match for those guys in the league at all.

Does anyone know if any of our seniors will still be around to play?

So....if you have the #1 overall pick, which Cyclone or Bulldog do you take?
Ejim has been the #1 pick the past 2 years I believe. Gotta think he'll 3-peat.

Yep and it was a blast to watch. Craig really took Royce to school on both ends of the floor.

Actually it's completely the opposite. Bigs' are pretty much irrelevant.

They'll score at will and not play defense. The CCL will tell you exactly nothing.

Lucious and Long played tough defense in every game I attended. Garrett also. But most didn't.
