I think some of you may have been aware or seen some of this at some point of my spamming of this board but I wanted to try to make it known again. Basically, I know questions come up on stats from time to time and that combing through the record book on cyclones.com and other mediums can be a bit tedious. On this linked page below of my site I have a few different sub-pages.
All of the options in the top half are for advanced stats for this season for all of the Big 12 teams. But the bottom half is what I really wanted to share. I have all players included that played from 1949 to this current season and I have the pages broken out by scoring, rebounds/blocks, and assists/steals by season and by career numbers.
Each column for each table is sortable and you can also type in the search box to pull up a player or a given season, etc...
More than anything, I just wanted to make this an available resource for anyone that may be searching for historical Iowa State basketball stats. Let me know if you have any comments or questions.
How did Hercle Ivy average over 28 points a game? Before I was born. Was something different back then?
As VeloClone noted, he was the focus of the offense on some bad teams. For a gunning guard that was still a lot of points per game considering there was no three point shot back than and no Hilton Magic yet (place was awful).
