    Very good listen....thanks for the link. You can still here the pain in Fred's voice when he talks about the Ohio State loss. Sounds like he thought with a win there we were set up for good things.

    Hes quick to deflect questions that could get him in to trouble. The rutgers situation, the favorite official question. he still gives answers, just avoids saying anything controversial.

    It's one of the reasons he is so popular up here in the Twin Cities. When he played, he was a go to interview. After he moved to the front office he was the go to guy for all of the local radio shows.

    Fred once again made it clear that looking at a transfer here and there will always be a part of the recruiting plan. It is nice to build a team from high school recruits, but adding a transfer who adds talent, experience and maturity to a team and fills a need you may have can be huge.

    He's proven that over and over. Fact of the matter transfers seem to be part of college athletics right now(ISU has learned that the hard way.) It's a lot different than 20 years ago in that respect.

    That being said do hope(and I'm sure Fred is working to) that we shift to more traditional type players and less focus on transfers.

    Well then you were probably happy with his next comment which was to say as of this point the team next year will have no transfers.
