    Disney shuts down LucasArts

Man, they made some great games in the past. X-Wing and Tie Fighter are some of my all time favorite PC games, and I used to love some of their point and click adventure games.

Lucas Rep Says Star Wars 1313 Might Be Saved - News - www.GameInformer.com

Sounds like there is some hope 1313 will still see the light of day via another publisher. With as much buzz as it created at E3 I'd be surprised if someone can't make a licensing deal for it.

1313 should get picked up. Seems like they were really close to being done with it. The concept was very cool.

Darn. To think, LucasArts brought us X-Wing way back in the day. Spent way too many hours flying missions in that game.

Are Star Wars games still good? I don't think I've played one frequently since Rogue Squadron on N64.

Tie fighter was my favorite of the two. Earning ranks in the order of the emperor was freaking awesome! Force lightning is the only way to get a tattoo.

Last good ones were Knights of the Old Republic and Battlefront series' IMO. That was before XBOX 360 and PS3.

Easier to license out and let others take the risk, the better SW games were coming from outside producers anyways in recent memory.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

Yeah. Rhoadhoused mentioned the KOTOR series, which was really developed by Bioware and Obsidian. There will still be plenty of good (and bad) Star Wars games.
