    Full trailer - The Wolverine

    “I heard that Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation will each make $5 million for this season’s ‘Jersey Shore.’ It just goes to show that if you put your mind to something and work hard, you’re wasting your time.” -- Jimmy Fallon

    Re: Full trailer - The Wolverine

    It looks good but I am confused on the timeline. Is this after the last stand? Why would he leave the institute? Is it supposed to just be a movie based 0% off the prequel or X-Men movies already made and soon to be made?

    If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

    I'm confused too. I guess I just assumed this took place after the first Wolverine movie which is before X-Men.

    Here's my guess at the timeline.

    First Class -> Wolverine 1-> Wolverine 2->Xmen 1,2,3.

    While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    First Class -> Wolverine 1-> Wolverine 2->Xmen 1,2,3.

    They showed Jean Grey in the trailer in a loving flashback. This happens somewhere in the xmen series. Probably after.

    Yes agreed this looks after but confused as to why he wouldn't be at the institute. Maybe supposed to be in the future?

    Re: Full trailer - The Wolverine

    I thought I had read somewhere that this will take place after X3.

    I want so much for this movie to be good, but Fox will find a way to screw it up. The first Wolverine movie was a sad travesty in so many ways.

    This takes place after X-Men 3. It will loosely follow Chris Claremont & Frank Miller's run on The Wolverine comic run.

    Re: Full trailer - The Wolverine

    In the comics a lot of time the Wolverine solo titles he's just out wandering the world as a loner fighting his battles and not trying to save the whole universe. This isn't that different than how I see this movie. I'm sure some will be disappointed but it sounds like a new legit X-men movie bridging First Class but losely using "Days of Future Past" comics story is also in the works. If they do that well then X3 is forgiven :-)

    I hadn't even read anything about it but this is what I was guessing too.

    I am optimistic for this one. Fox has taken some steps since the **** storm of X-Men 3, Wolverine: X-Men Origins, and both Fantastic Fours to make better movies. Probably the biggest is bringing Mark Millar to oversee all of their Marvel properties and stories. Granted, The Wolverine was pretty far into production before Millar was brought on board. He is an incredible comic book writer and will hopefully have all of their properties headed in the right direction.
