"Philisophical" Question we've talked about at work for hours.

If you had a reset button for the last 10 years, would you press it? Why or why not?

    Here are the rules:

    • You only have 10 minutes to choose

    • There's no way to reverse your decision
    • Your mind, as it is now, is put in the body you had 10 years ago.

Would you relive the last decade? Go back to early 2003, before the iphone was released, when everyone still thought there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and you were probably in elementary/middle school/high school/college?

Yeah, there are several things I would do differently. Plus, going through high school again wouldnt be a bad thing.

Not if the variables would bring me to a point different from where I am now. It would certainly be nice to change some decisions and enjoy the extra time on the planet, but I think I've had it pretty good.

This in addition to well timed investment purchases and sales, I'd be a god damn bajillionaire.

So you're telling me I have a chance to relive my last semester of college and begin my career having the mindset of being 10 years in? Hell, I would push the ****** button twice, for good measure!

Question, do you keep any physical ailments or mental ailments you've picked up over those 10 years.

If you went back 10 years from today, you're about to endure Larry Eustachy's firing only to look forward to a 2-10 football season.

Anyone who says yes should be punched in the junk and then forced to have their computer autolink to hawkeyenation every time they try and open cyclonefanatic.com.

This is what it comes down to for me to.

I'm happy where I am at and wouldn't want to change that.

If I was able to go back with all the knowledge I have now and make basically all the same decisions but change a few that could make my situation incrementally better then yeah I'd probably go for it, but if I were to go back and start over with out the memory of how I did it the first time I would not (although still being me it seems like I would make all the same decisions the second time and end up back in the same spot anyway).

Possibly. Example... if you had cancer in 2005, you could get it checked more regularly and get it early so it doesn't "stick around". But if you did nothing about it, yes you would get it.

Re: "Philisophical" Question we've talked about at work for hours.

Tough one....... I love my life as it is right now... wife, family, children, home, job ect. and am quite content. On the other hand if I went back knowing what I know now.. I wouldn't have been quite the nice guy I was, in the first place. So many missed opportunities that I now know I could have had.....
