No notes on the quarterbacks? Good info, as always, though, Chris!

I remember when we had a walk-on DT end up making it to the NFL, so it can sometimes be a good thing.

When it comes to ISU receivers, I've still got to see it before I believe it. Been wwwwaaaayyyyy too many seasons with overblown hype on improved receivers only to dissapoint.

I dont think we have anyone on this team who will be down right nasty. But hopefully just a few guys who can be consistent pass catchers.

I don't like the looks of Wimberly's running style, seems to be in the "backseat"; I prefer a more upright style.

At 291 and one of our most athletic guys? We should just put him at running back, no one could tackle him or chase him down, he'll be like a poor man's Marcus Dupree

I think he will be our best back. Not as powerful as Woody or White, but he is very shifty and dynamic it seems.

Re: BLOG: Jottings from open spring practice

I'm really pulling for Shaban Dika to finally have some good fortune come his way and be injury free the remainder of his time here. That just shows a ton of mental toughness to come back from a second ACL after rehabing the first one. Same with Shontrelle. I'm always amazed that these guys come back from a serious injury and somehow can mentally put it out of their minds, I don't think I could do that.

Wimberly is a great fit for our offense. Just look at his highlight tapes from Iowa Western. Cant wait to see this kid play

Thanks for the notes. It is great to hear some substantive things this early in Spring practice. Coach Rhoads really seems to be putting some things in place from the outset.
