Hats off to OSU and Craft

Both Craft and Thad Matta showed some great class in the post game interviews. Craft was very humble about it and didn't act cocky at all. Matta seemed very professional on the sideline and wasn't constantly screaming at the refs. Even though it sucks that we lost it would have sucked more for them to stick our faces in it.

Yeah, if Craft would have pulled a Mateen Cleaves, I would have lost it.

Very classy before hand too. Didn't like Craft during the game but can understand how competitive the game is.

Re: Hats off to OSU and Craft

This may be me just looking for something to dislike about him, but it rubbed me the wrong way in the postgame interviews when he was asked something like "How was it to play a tough offensive team like ISU?" He said something like "We took their best effort and were still able to win." Something like that. It might not have been all that offensive, but I was already ticked.

I forgot to mention the pre-game stuff too, it was a breath of fresh air compared to that jack-*** Cooley. It was satisfying taking it to them like we did.

I was very impressed about how classy and respectful the Ohio State guys were. I'll be cheering for them (until they play Louisville).

Please don't misunderstand me, if Craft was magically standing in my living room after nailing that shot, me, my buddy and likely son would have been repeatedly raining blows on his face.:)

Re: Hats off to OSU and Craft

I'm a big fan of Aaron Craft. Sure he gets away with stuff and I was yelling like hell against him yesterday, but IMO he's the best PG in college basketball. He may not be the best offensive player, but he's a winner. He plays his butt off, D's you up, and does some nice things offensively when attacking the hoop

I agree with some other people here.. After watching a replay of the game I really respect the way he plays. Not cocky about anything

Re: Hats off to OSU and Craft

There are a lot of running backs that don't lower a shoulder as well as Craft when he's driving to the hoop. That said, yeah, it kinda made me angry how respectful he was. It was so much easier to just hate him.

Re: Hats off to OSU and Craft

He's a very good player. Best in college ball?
Sorry, not even close. There's better in the B10.
I just refuse to buy into the media darling/hype.
I OD'd on the Manti Teo blather I guess.
Craft is a good baller, but other than last night,
even honest Bus fans will admit he chocks
    under pressure.
They beat us fair and square, and I'll pull for them.

Re: Hats off to OSU and Craft

He is cockier and dirtier than some of you apparently care to realize. The shoulder he threw into Niang was garbage. Then he appeared to be shocked that Niang wanted to shake his hand. If he was as classy as some of you think he would have accepted the hand shake, but he didn't. Craft is an avg player and a media darling that gets ALL THE CALLS and nobody calls him on his BS. That's a fact.

Re: Hats off to OSU and Craft

Craft is very good. easily a top 10 point guard in the country. But i'll take Shane Larkin as the best PG in college ball. That kid is just so good at creating shots for his teammates, and can knock down shots if you give him space.

All I have to say is Matta acted very differently than Bill Self after our other controversial ending. And we know how Self acted.

I thought it was poor sportsmanship on his part when he refused to shake Georges hand after their bump. Did not like that one bit
