I deny all of these, even the ones with sound physical evidence.

Re: Biggest Screwjobs that went ISU's way....

The main ones that come to mind are:
    -Creighton in basketball in 2010
-KSU, McGruder's end of game no-call mugging in 2012

Football, there are none. The Mizzou game in 2006 was absolutely the right call. There were several holds on that final play. Sure, its not often called at that point in game, but that doesn't negate the fact that it did happen.

There were some bad calls that went our way in this year's TCU football game, but they never came at a point where they basically decided the game. That to me is the definition of a screw job. We came out on top of a screwjob in each of Fred's first two seasons, and then got buried under an avalanche of them in his third. In football, we've gotten the occasional bad call go our way, but I can't think of a game where it really effected the final outcome.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

Auburn pays ISU to take Chizik off their hands. Wonder if Auburn fans have a thread of the biggest screw jobs and they are all crying about how ISU screwed them over because of Chizik.

OSU game. Our guard (Hicks I think) flinched and should have been called for a false start on a long touchdown run in second half.

The foul called on Ejim by John Higgins that gave Creighton 2 free throws to tie the game right before this was just awful. Yes, technically, VanDerbeeken got the shot off a tenth of a second late. But the call leading up to that play went against us!

IIRC the string of events, he had just been called for a false start the play before as well, then on this play, I think the ref started to reach for flag but then didn't throw it.

That's a good point. I'm not sure you get two steps any time after picking up your dribble but I think they give you two steps to shoot. If that's true, then there's another debunked.

Re: Biggest Screwjobs that went ISU's way....

I changed my mind about Crieghton 2010. That wasn't a true screw-job. Had there been television at the game, the basket wouldn't have counted. It wasn't tecnically a judgement call in any other game. No "call on the field stands" in college basketball. Bad luck on Creighton's part. If that is the best we can come up with, then God have mercy on our souls.

A screwjob is where rules are just completely ignored or a judgement call is made completely incorrectly that directly impacts the end of a game.

That play before they weren't set before they snapped the ball. It really was pretty obvious. They got a 5 yard penalty and time to rekick. Problem is they didn't snap it that time till it was too late. But you are probably right, Colorado fans probably do think it was stolen.
