    Starting Lineups for Next Year

I donít think this has been posted, but Iím curious to who will start for the team next year.

    Predictions...

    1) Bubu (not excited about that, but a freshman pg doesnít do that well in big 12 play)
    2) Bluford (Could be Thomas)
    3) Hogue
    4) Ejim
    5) Niang

Monte will start ahead of Bubu after the first couple non conference games. Monte and Matt will be four year starters.

Re: Starting Lineups for Next Year

We should have a Cybookie event on number of lineup threads between now and tipoff of the first game next year. My guess is we see a bunch near term like we are right now. I will guess there will be a wildcard transfer that happens which will cause more. Then we will see a ton through Cap City League Play. Then they ramp up again once practice begins.

I'm going with 75 individual threads on this topic between now and next season.

Why does no one talk about Long, Okoro, Law, Fowler. Weren't we excited about them recently? And SDW? Honest question...I know Morris and Thomas are highly regarded, but are these other guys so much worse to discount already despite being older? Have we seen them enough to know that?

I expect SDW to be a big part of our team for the next four years. He's very athletic and can shoot the hell out of the ball and he's been putting on weight which is why he red shirted.

I don't expect Long to ever start because there's a logjam at the 1 and 2. He's a solid athlete though and will find ways to get some minor minutes.
    PG's next year: Monte, Bubu
    Following year: Monte, Custer
SG's next year: Matt, SDW, Bluford
    SG's same following year

Okoro is interesting. I'm not quite sure what he's got offensively but he intrigues me as a defensive player.

Law and Fowler know their roles and they will push and compete against the other guys in practice. They'll come in at the end of games that are already over. Every team needs guys like these.

    Law
    Fowler
    Long
    Okoro
    Ellerman

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

If Monte Is a legitimate B12 starter as a freshman, I would suspect that Custer would redshirt his freshman year.
