    Excellent.

How do you guys keep it together in that situation? That would be all but impossible.

Re: A fitting way for the season to end

I compare this to my last high school game and I don't think I can get a handle on the emotion. I mean, we weren't good, played one of the best teams in the state, got clobbered like we expected, to be honest, I didn't hardly play because I was awful and the emotion was heavy in that locker room. Now you take into acount that Lucious was given a second chance here, Clyburn, Babb and Booker had been to other schools and sat out and I can't even imagine everything they were feeling going through all that. That's not even to mention the big comeback, the heartbreaks of the season in general and everything else. These guys left it all out there and I hope they know everyone appreciates it.

I've done heartbreaking news quite a few times. I'm not going to pretend that I kept it together.
I'm simply amazed that the media guys apparently did. That's beyond anything I've got.

And so much respect for Georges in this thing. I've said that elsewhere, but that young guy really is a man.

Fitting indeed. After gut wrenching losses to KU, OSU, UT, and KU, how else could the season have ended?

A **cking Final Four, that's how.

I refuse to read an article with a stupid title like that. There's literally nothing remotely fitting with how the season ended for these great seniors. They deserved better. The staff deserved better.

I agree with this. This isn't a fitting ending. It's bull **** if you ask me. They deserve so much more.

Pretty sure there is some jimlad there... But, if there isn't, there damn well should be. I still don't feel quite right knowing we won't see this squad again...

My hate is not limited to just the Hawkeyes, I have plenty to go around for the Jayhawks and just Hawks in general.

yep, can't sleep. I love Cyclone hoops, look forward to it all year. Had we not made a run and lost by 10 or more points, I would have maybe been okay with that and I'd be sleeping right now. But, when we have a team with our best defender and one of our best players that cannot go for the second half, the guys that are in there played their freakin hearts out in a comeback, and then lose close in which a bad call contributed to it, that is hard. The deserved better then to have one guy (the ref) screw them over like that. Oh what could have been.

What I keep thinking is how great of a story it almost was. It was almost a game for the ages.

I never thought we had a chance without Babb in the second. I thought it would be much like the KU game in the tournament....we just wouldn't have the guns to stay with them.

And they they fell down by 13 and I figured that it was going to hurt less since we didn't have Babb. But those suckers fought back and came crazy close to the win. Crazy close. A correct call and they might have had it.

You guys obviously don't get it and if you actually read the column you'd see. But that's fine. ******** is fine too. After this painful season, fans deserve that.
