I want to know who thought that was a charge.

Clark Kellogg is the most blatant OSU homer of all time (not surprisingly since he went there).

I watched it a couple times and to me, Craft slid over way too late regardless of whether he was outside the circle.

I also disagree with Clark about the heel being up in the air excusing it. Is that really right? I thought they were supposed to look at where the player's foot would be if flat on the ground.

    Tough, tough loss.

    Crickets.

Nobody will respond to this post, because it wasn't even close to a charge. Will Clyburn left the ground WAY before Craft was even in the area. BS call, and it cost us.

The game is over, if we keep dissecting each play....it is going to lead to more heartache.

It was a bad call.....just watched on the DVR.

Re: I want to know who thought that was a charge.

Not that it matters now, but I thought he was fouled first before he made contact with Craft. I think if there was no prior contact, the call was right. But how you disregard the initial contact I'm not sure?

Even without the circle, that shouldn't have been a charge. You shouldn't be able to slide under a guy like that to get a call.

Yeah, awful call, why can't they review if his foot was hovering over the line? A black and white thing like that should be reviewable

Re: I want to know who thought that was a charge.

It wasn't a charge - Ohio State fans know it, but we got a few calls, too.

I'm not mad about that call. We make a couple free throws, don't let that rebound get away from us, don't kick the ball of our feet a couple times, or simply stopped missing easy dunks and layups, we are going to Los Angeles.

Post game show argument on the call Sir Charles agrees that the ref blew the call other two, one says ut was a good call other says he agrees with Charles but refs make mistakes.

Re: I want to know who thought that was a charge.

It wasn't that bad of call. Not nearly as bad as the KU screw job.

We didn't need to commit a horrible turnover the very next possession. That's what I'm more upset about. ISU got a fair shake from the refs the last two games. I'm fine with it.

Re: I want to know who thought that was a charge.

It's funny how they are so worried about where his foot is. Doesn't really matter, be cause he slid in after Clyburn was in the air. Blocking foul no matter where he is.

Sucks to think of those two points and maybe another...then snagging that rebounding the other end...then we win it at the ft line.

Re: I want to know who thought that was a charge.

I have three problems with it, one Craft was moving, two he was inside the box, even though his foot was not touching the line, and three, and the one no one is talking about is that #1 for OSU jumped right into Clyburn and that was clearly a blocking call. He was not even close to being set or blocking the shot, just all body.

Re: I want to know who thought that was a charge.

The new rule this year was that secondary defenders have to be in position prior to the offensive player leaving his feet. It wasn't close. It was late and Craft was in restricted area. Just another really bad call in a college basketball game.

    It was not a charge...

However, unlike the KU game, it didn't cost us the game.
