Over 8,800 fans is very impressive for their first home game.

From the sounds of it, if they had over 8,800 last night, the attendance figures of 10-11k+ for our early MBB games were correct as well.

Sounds like a good game. Ten points down with 4:00 left to go, win it 101-98. Was anyone there? How good was the talent?

    I was there, very boring

There were not 8800 there last night, maybe they gave out that many free tickets, but there wer maybe 5k actually there. They gave away a ton of free tickets to Wellmark, so I am sure that was a huge number of the unused tickets. That is how I got them. The game was boring, Scoreboard did not work right, game was slow, way to closely called, the flow was horrible, it was almost a three hour basketball game, way to long, entertainment was pretty bad, they sure did not have the ENERGY going in that building last night. If this is the product it will not last too long. The casual basketball fan will be board out of there mind.

I was hoping to see a game, but would rather invest my money and time into Hilton.

I'm thinking of going to the game tomorrow night. Only 8 bucks.

Shouldn't there be a 'Kinda-Sorta Pro Sports' forum for this topic?

According to Jerry Crawford on Cotlar this morning, they gave out ZERO free tickets to the game.
