That might be your best article ever. It may not be close.

I wouldn't trade Georges for every coupon in the world. (I may write a song about that......)

hate to bring up the Hawkeyes, but I love cruising their boards and reading how great they'll be next year and how bad ISU will be 'rebuilding'. News flash...best players in the state next year are Niang and Ejim by a mile. They aren't going anywhere. Going to be fun proving everyone wrong and "surprising" idiot national media and idiot Hawks a third year in a row.

Re: Williams: Ain't trading Georges Niang for the world

I know people don't want to compare Georges to Nerlens Noel now 'cause Noel tore his ACL, but Niang was having the better season even before Noel got hurt. Don't get me wrong, you need athletes. ISU was WAAAAY more athletic than Notre Dame tonight. But you also need the guys with the high basketball IQ. Georges, really is both. I don't like hearing people say he's not athletic. He's not LeBron James, but Niang has a ton of natural ability, and he's enhanced it with more intelligence than most upperclassmen ever attain.

On second thought, keep saying he's not athletic. Maybe the NBA will buy it, and let him stay in school longer. :)

I wouldn't trade Ejam either. The "Major" is chaning the game.

I'll respectfully disagree (particularly with the by a mile part).

Both teams are going to have a lot of talent next year, and the game in Hilton should be one of the better ones in the last decade of the series. This rivalry is about to get a lot more fun, and I can't wait.

Re: Williams: Ain't trading Georges Niang for the world

Not to be "that guy", but I respectfully disagree. I WOULD trade Georges Niang for the world.

....and then, when they came to collect, I'd be like "Wait a minute, isn't Georges part of this world? So technically, he's still ours."

So then you'd have Georges for 3 more years, plus the whole world. I'm sure we could find SOME use for the whole entire world.

The only way this could get better would be if we could trick Hayden Fry into having a fiddling contest with Fred Hoiberg. That golden fiddle would look great up on the shelf next to the mason jar where Fred keeps Scott Drew's testicles.

Almost scary to think how good he can be. I saw so much growth out of him last night. Not only the scoring, but he played great straight-up defense. So excited to see where he can lead this team.

Of course the explosion of media/internet outlets is a big reason but Georges is already, easily, the most nationally touted freshman in ISU history.
