    Big 12 Not Helping Itself

I'm no fan of either Oklahoma State or Kansas State. They are probably two and three behind KU as far as teams I despise, so I certainly wasn't rooting for either of them to win this tournament, but two first round exits from top teams in the Big 12 certainly has to damage its credibility. Let's hope we can make a strong showing to help our conference even a little bit. Having said all that, I still hope KU loses.

Shhhh. Don't post about Big XII teams losing or that it's not a good sign (as I previously pointed out re: OK State's loss). People will accuse you of being negative and a "Debbie Downer."

Re: Big 12 Not Helping Itself

We need to be a little more like other fanbases and let some of this roll right off of us. Sure the Big 12 has sucked so far. But what does the Big 10 do when they suck at bowl games? They double down on how good they are.

Upsets happen in the tournament. And the Big 12 was down. It doesn't mean that the Big 12 is the worst conference in the history of the world this year.

Re: Big 12 Not Helping Itself

So what we've seen is two teams that haven't come ready to play and fug early holes. Fred should make sure the team sees this to point out what could happen if they aren't ready. Being the higher seed may actually help in this regard

Re: Big 12 Not Helping Itself

what does conference credibility matter at this point? all the teams that are in the tourney are in.

next year's play will determine next years conference strength, not a few teams bowing out early in the NCAA's.

If the conference showing well in post season somehow makes you feel better, then great, but there are no consequences of having one bad year. Now, If you go ahead and wet the pants every year like the b1g does in football in bowl games, then you define yourself as the conference that knows how to bring the suck. but, one bad year doesn't matter. It's why they play the tournament

We need to win two and reach Sweet Sixteen which is equivalent to a #4 seed which fixes the apparent atrocities caused by several last second miracles against us.

I'm glad OSU lost after that screw job we were issued on the road there, and KSU apparently didn't come to play out of the gate. I don't care if all Big 12 teams lose other than ISU, although I hold no ill will towards OU.

To be fair, it looks like ATM LaSalle is going to VCU all over this tournament.

Not helping itself how? Everyone knew this was a stinky year for the league. B1G is the one that has to live up to the hype, not B12.
