***OFFICIAL: HOW SCREWED IS YOUR BRACKET THREAD***

Guess I shouldn't be such a Big 12 homer...Ok State hurts along with New Mexico and Pitt (had them beating Zags). Missed on my upset pick of St. Mary's 1st day...hoping to right the ship today!

Anyone's bracket get blown up 1st day?

I did great in the early afternoon sessions... but the evening wrecked everything. Okie State, New Mexico, Belmont, Pitt. I suppose that's what I get for putting faith in Steve Alford. I did pick the Cal upset correctly, at least.

At this point, I'll root for ISU and anarchy.

St Mary's, New Mexico, UNLV, Montana, Okie State. Hate Boiheim. Forgot Alford was at New Mexixo otherwise would have stayed away from that one. In his post game he says something to the effect "I can't shoot for them". Really? Clearly hasn't changed. Not feeling good about Gonzaga either and have them in the finals vs Miami.

I had Pitt beating the zags as well. I also had OSU winning but had them losing next rond so it won't hurt me to much. Also I had bucknell going to the sweet 16 I need to learn to have faith in butler.

Me too, after going to the title game two years in a row, I still do not have faith in them

Re: ***OFFICIAL: HOW SCREWED IS YOUR BRACKET THREAD***

New Mexico, St. Mary's and Okie State my only misses so far - didn't have any of the 3 in Sweet Sixteen or Elite 8 so I'm doing okay as long as the OTHER half of each miss makes it through ;-)

Guess we'll find out as today progresses!

Really though, I only care about ISU making it past ND today.

New Mexico hurt me the most, had them going one more game. Otherwise had one game misses on Colorado St. (which was a mistake, I meant to pick them), Okie State, and Pitt. Picked the Cal game correctly.

Re: ***OFFICIAL: HOW SCREWED IS YOUR BRACKET THREAD***

I have not lost any sweet 16 teams yet. So that is not to bad. I am assuming most of the world missed the harvard game. I lost Okie State and I lost St. Marys as one of my upsets. I lost a few others. However, Keeping my sweet 16 in tact is a pretty good start.

Re: ***OFFICIAL: HOW SCREWED IS YOUR BRACKET THREAD***

I'm not too bad right now. My worst loss was OSU, and I had them out after the Sweet 16. My other two losses, New Mexico and Pitt, I had both gone after the next round anyway. Standing in first place in one of my other pools.

To the people that trusted Steve Alford to actually go far in the tournament, have you learned your lesson?
