    Royce White to Houston

Apparently Royce is headed back to Houston the rest of the season.
    http://www.desmoinesregister.com/art...30321015/1003/

My question to CFers: Is this a step closer to Royce rejoining the Rockets, as in they want him to get more game shape? Or is it a step away because they aren't having him play in the D-league anymore?

    Re: Royce White to Houston

I'd probay say closer. For next year.

Rockets are heading to the playoffs. They are figuring out their 8-9 man rotation that they are going into the playoffs with. Bringing in Royce and having him play would really throw off whatever cohesion they have.

He complained about staying in hotels. He doesn't fly and doesn't like hotels. Never going to make it

The Rockets didn't have him come to Houston. They wanted him to stay in the D-league. Royce did it on his own. It's a step further back.

    From yesterday:

    http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...est-royce.html

It's probably not a step forward, and Royce isn't likely doing himself any favors.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Royce needs to decide what he wants, I think he has many more issues then advertised

The NBA is no business for someone mentally ill, that has severe anxiety about flying and hotels.

It's that simple. I still love Royce and wish him well, but he's simply not cut out for the NBA.

I've defended Royce pretty hard in the past, but I am agreeing more and more with this.

How did Fred handle these problems? We didn't hear anything about any of this last year.

"Cómo te va", dijo el murguista a la muchacha. Que lo cortó con su mirada indiferente
Le dijo "Bien" y lo dejó como si nada

We held his hand/babysat him and let Royce do what Royce wanted.

I don't think we babysat him. We let him do what he wanted as long as they were still within the rules. Obviously, things are different: you go to NBA or NBDL, it was a cut throat environment, more business like: hard to find real friends as everyone competes to go to NBA and for playing time, you live in hotels instead of returning to your apartment, etc.

    Re: Royce White to Houston

I wonder if this is the Rockets seeing if White has NBA talent, and if he does if he has enough talent that he's worth dealing with the migraine he's giving the Rockets' organization.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

He did approach being the second best guy on the team from an efficiency standpoint plus/minus. Maybe they have seen enough in D League and are planning to check him out for next year in training camp. It was the team physician who made the recommendation....

CFH HMagic bball season next year.

This. I think Fred was quite releived when Royce decided to enter the draft.
