Pretty entertaining from Pat Forde. "(Marshall Henderson) is Russdiculous on crazy pills." Found that funny, and true. Dude is insane.

I think the only media overlooking us is CBS, and not even all of them are overlooking us. In fact, I think it's getting to the point where TOO many people think we're a dangerous team.

I don't feel like we are being overlooked at all. Mike and Mike mentioned us this morning as a dangerous team 'because they can make shots'.

Canada (52). The All-Canadian Export Tournament Team: Kelly Olynyk, Gonzaga; Kevin Pangos, Gonzaga; Nik Stauskas, Michigan; Anthony Bennett, UNLV; Melvin Ejim, Iowa State. That leaves off plenty of other major contributors to good teams. (Ironically, the most talked-about Canadian coming into the season didn't make the Dance Ė that's Texas' Myck Kabongo, who was suspended by the NCAA for the first 23 games of the season for impermissible benefits. By the time he returned, the Longhorns were too far gone.

We unfortunately aren't that dangerous. Teams which score a ton but don't play defense don't fare well in the NCAA tournament. Could we buck the trend? Absolutely. Is it very likely? Nope.

Re: Bracket wreckers - Iowa State

I agree with IcSyU, I no longer like our chances at making a deep run. However, I'm usually wrong, so I hope I am again.

I also think we don't really play very well at a slow pace, and both our 1st round and (potential) 2nd round matchups play at a rather slow tempo. I think we're really going to need to be hitting our 3s, keep Ejim out of foul trouble, and Lucious needs break out of his recent funk. He played really bad in the conf tourney.

I'm worried about ND's bigs. It sounds like their specialty is physical play and drawing fouls. Doesn't bode well for Ejim seeing a lot of minutes.

If ND's lilly-white white boys wear those dreadful neon green unis, our guys won't be able to shoot because their abdominal muscles will be worn out from laughing!
