    Re: Greatest invention ever?

My vote is for Beer, but hey that's me.

I dont' really get the whole over-awesomeness of bacon. I like bacon, love it on a BLT or in the morning, next to a couple of eggs. But, bacon has always been to me, one of those foods with such and overpowering flavor, that it doesn't make other foods better, it makes them bacon. I'd rather just have bacon and cheese on a bun, than a bacon Cheesburger. Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon? Let's just grill some bacon.

I know it probably has to do with the way my taste buds work, but anything with bacon on it, just tastes like bacon to me. There is no enhancing of flavor, it just tastes like I'm eating bacaon. So I always feel like there is no need to mix in all the other food when I could just go ahead and eat bacon.

FIFY: removed the first two sentences. They made the rest of your post seem like it was a bad thing that bacon does this. It was incorrect. You are welcome.

I think I tend to agree with you to some extent. I like bacon in normal capacities like with breakfast or on a burger/sandwich, but when people take bacon to extremes it gets too much very easily.

    Re: Greatest invention ever?

I bet if you put bacon bits on a strip of bacon you could travel through time. It'd be redundant for me though, because I would travel back to a time when I was eating bacon. It would be a bacon to bacon time-space continuum.

That was a nerdy-*** bacon joke

Mass produce it at TBell for 89 cents and then we'll talk.
