who will score 20 in 2013-14

Look I've been as critical of clyburn as anyone this year but looking at his work as a whole the guy has had a BUNCH of 20pt games for us and for that I would like to say thanks and those pts have won us a lot of games. Mc3 has had several mid teens games too. That's a lot of pts gone. OK im sure we'll get m back but where's the consensus say they come from? Will niang step up? Will Mr double double continue to get better and better like he does every year? Whos our consistent 20 next year?

And remember with all the prediction threads suddenly reappearing this one will be bumped in t minus 364 days.

I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally....

We won't have one which is fine by me. Just need them all to be consistant. I hope Hogue can get around 10-12 and either 10-12 o whoever wins the SG spot. That is why we need a big guy to step up and score when we sit Niang and Ejim. They are obviously susceptible to fouls so someone needs to step up.

Clyburn had 7 20+ games, and Mc3 had 6. Niang and Ejim are the only two that have the potential to have that many 20 point games next year. And with a new PG and possibly new offensive scheme, I just don't know if they'll get enough touches. In all likelihood, we probably won't have a scorer like Clyburn next year.

Niang could possibly be that guy. I think he'll average 17pts 8 reb anyway! I highly doubt Ejim will take enough shots to score 20.

Niang. Thomas will have a couple. Ejim will have a couple. SDW might? Bluford might? A lot of unknowns right now.

If SDW scores 20 ppg he should not have been redshirting this year. I think it's more likely SDW averages like 7-8 ppg with some hot shooting nights.

I'm not sure McLemore would agree.

Niang will have at least five 20 point games I think.

McLemore sat out due to grades/eligibility issue, not because he wasn't ready to play.

mclemore red shirted because he was a partial qualifier, i.e. couldn't clear all of the academic requirements, not because of talent

We can handle a little bit of a drop-off in points scored. We shouldn't expect the ability to be 4th in the nation with 80+ PPG every single year, and we likely won't. CFH will put together the best strategy to win games with whatever tools he's got...sometimes that will be a less-potent offense than we have now. We still managed to make the round of 32 last season despite scoring 7 PPG less than we did this year.

Link to someone saying SDW would be a 20 ppg guy?

Ejim will take more shots because Fred will tell him to be a leader, much like Diante did. I bet he leads the team.
