8 possible places for ISU to get a 1st round NCAA game. Due to your time/money/location which one or ones would you go to?

Easily Kansas City, but wouldn't be mad with Dayton, Lexington, or *gulp* Auburn Hills

Due to my location Salt Lake City is the only viable option. :(

Re: Traveling to 1st round NCAA sites

I'd fly to them, so going off of the fact I'd want to spend the least amount of money to get there, I'd guess Philadelphia, KC, SLC, or Auburn Hills (Detroit). Maybe Austin..haven't flown out of/to San Jose in about 10 years.

I probably can't do any of them, but KC would be very tough to say no to.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Yeah, it would be very tough not to go to KC. My wife's working that day, so I might have to see if my dad could go if it's there.

Re: Traveling to 1st round NCAA sites

Would love KC! Definitely would go! Unfortunately Iowa State has no chance at KC with KU and KState both going there.
I would probably consider Austin, Dayton, and Lexington.
Auburn Hills would suck because Michigan State and Michigan are both going to be there.

Nothing in the SE USA. Lexington is closest but still 17 hours away.

What really sucks is we are like 20 seconds game time away from being a top 4 seed and a spot in KC....

KC would be one of the best opportunities for me to ever go to the NCAAs.That would make for a nice Friday of Spring Break for me.

Location isn't the problem. Time off work is. Already taking three days to attend the Big 12 tournament.

Re: Traveling to 1st round NCAA sites

Went to Louisville last year, it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. IMHO the ncaa tournament is amazing compared to bowl games. Well, at least the bowl games we have been to the last 4 years.

Re: Traveling to 1st round NCAA sites

So what are the actual chances we make it to KC? I have seen us in KC on a few brackets and none of them had K-State in KC.
